We Are Better Together

We are better together. We are a better couple when we come together. We are a better community when we come together. We are a better church when we come together.

Where we are today is not a guarantee of where we will be tomorrow. One of the things in Scripture is its honesty about our future. The bible lets us know, that all of us are going to experience a certain amount of pain, trials, and tribulations in this world.

Some of the things we never expected to happen, happened. We never thought we would lose our job. Never thought we’d flunk a grade. Never thought our kids would get hooked on drugs. Never thought our boyfriend or girlfriend would dump us. Never thought we would be divorced.

Never thought we’d end up in jail. Never thought we’d be betrayed. Never thought we’d be victim of a horrible crime. Never thought cancer would invade our bodies. Never thought we’d get pregnant. Never thought we’d become an addict. Yet somehow they did happen.

When these crises happen, we need to have somebody to help us get back up again. When we are in fellowship in a small group of God’s people, we can find the support and encouragement we need to make it through these situations and stand up tall for God once again.

God can use any experience you’ve gone through for His honor and glory. Unfortunately, we try to hide the painful things we have gone through and pretend all is well and always has been. There is somebody you may know who is just going into what you have already been through and come out of victoriously. You could make all the difference in his or her life.

God could put you both in the same church, job, school or some other group to make that difference possible. Jesus saved you, because He intended to use you. It takes a sacrifice of time to be used by God. Whether you accept your role or not, you are a minister of Christ. Say it with me. “I am a minister of Christ.”

4 Eyes

I remember at an early age what calling people names could do to someone. When we are called names it can sometimes have an adverse reaction for the name caller, depending on the the name used.

We often called people who wore glasses “4 eyes”. Because the 2 eyes they were born with was unable to see clearly, thus requiring external assistance for corrected vision…

As we get older we would soon realize we need additional eye exams to keep our vision correct.

Once examined we realize how beneficial it can be to be four eyes.

In addition to using our eyes for our vision we also enjoy sharing what we see to others.

When we share what we are able to see to others it will make them 4 eyes also.

They will become IGNITED! INSPIRED! INFLUENCED! IMPACTED to see great things in themselves and others.

I want to you all to see in yourself what I see in you.

Yes! You may see yourself in the battle of your life.

But I want you to keep fighting until your victory is won.

Keep fighting, praying, fasting, pressing, progressing, moving, reading and believing.
Keep trusting, trying, travailing, living, giving, and going.

I see you victorious and walking in in your purpose.

Keep using your 4 eyes because it ain’t over, until your victory is won.

Open Me First

Open me first! What are you waiting for this Christmas? Are you longing for anything? What are you expecting to receive? Are you looking forward to anything special this Christmas?  GIFTS, FOOD, FAMILY AND/OR FRIENDS…

Many of us during gift giving time are so excited about gifts that we can’t decide which gift to open first. Beloved, in a nutshell, Christmas is a marvelous, moving, message about Jesus the Christ! How can we not find what we’ve been looking for?

And, how can we keep quiet about it? Because once we have Jesus the Son of God, we have everything.

Many of you have probably anticipated opening your presents and gifts but if you don’t have the gift of Jesus, you will always be looking for fulfillment in other gifts that will never sustain you…

I want to invite you to a birthday party. It’s the birthday of Jesus. It’s His party but He wants to give you a present. He wants to give you the gift of Himself. Will you take Him?

As we celebrate Jesus, I want to make sure you thoroughly understand that Jesus is in the business of giving people the gift of a fresh start. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done; it doesn’t matter where you’ve been; it doesn’t matter how bad you think you’ve blown it: Jesus will give you a fresh start.

The apostle Peter says several things happen once you give your life to Jesus:

  • You open up your life to God and get to know him.
  • You’re given a brand new life, which gives you everything to live for.
  • You get a future in heaven.

You can say it this way: You get your past forgiven, you get a purpose for living, and you get a home in heaven. What a gift! Your past, present, and future are taken care of as you put your trust in Jesus. A fresh start

“Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 1:30 MSG).

Money Lives Matter

#MoneyLivesMatter

Money has a role in all of our lives

The life of Money can be a source of stress and pressure for many.

Money control lives, attitudes and emotions.

Money makes some of us its slaves.

Many of us are driven to make and keep money.

Therefore, we must straighten out our relationship with money because Money Lives Matter!

We need to have the right goals for money and we can start by having a financial attitude adjustment.

Do you serve money or do money serve you? My prayer for you is, money serves you as it serves God.

Money tells us that it serves God. It says “In God we trust!”

So, we must conduct ourselves with Godly wisdom with money.

Many of us has heard that “the love of money is the root of all evil”

Champions 4 Christ don’t love money—We love God!

Champions 4 Christ don’t trust money—We trust God!

Champions 4 Christ are givers of money—Not takers!

Champions 4 Christ know that money is a tool to help others serve God.

As Champions 4 Christ let’s make a declaration of faith.

(Say out loud)

I adjust my financial attitude now.

I do not serve money.

I am not a slave to money.

I serve God.

Money serves me.

I do not work for money.

Money works for me.

Money doesn’t control me.

I control money.

Money doesn’t rule me.

I rule money.

Money doesn’t dominate me.

I dominate money.

I faithfully and cheerfully tithe and give my offerings as I am instructed by the scriptures.

I boldly give as I am led.

Money—you serve me.

Money—you obey me.

Money—I command you to multiply, increase and produce maximum harvest through me for the kingdom of God.

Money —I command you to come to me now, because I can be trusted by God to use you for the purposes of God—in Jesus’ Name!

Yes! Money Lives Matter!!!
