Tisa “TJ” Jones is a dynamic pastor, author and counselor. Tisa
loves the Lord and has a passion for encouraging the people of
God through prayer. She has a unique anointing for sharing the
Gospel.
She credits Turner Theological Seminary at the
Interdenominational Theological Center as her most formative
educational experience. It was at The ITC where she earned the
Master of Divinity degree. She was also awarded a fellowship to
study with the Black Women in Church and Society program
headed by Dr. Jacquelyn Grant and invited to the ITC Chapter of
the International Society of Theta Phi Honor Society. She is also
the creator and host of the daily prayer podcast, Choose Joy
with Tisa.
Tisa is an avid fan of perennial NFC division and conference
favorites and Super Bowl XLVIII Champions, the Seattle
Seahawks. Born in Tacoma, Washington, Tisa now resides in the
ever-expanding metro Atlanta area with her husband Dr. Darryl
L. Jones. Darryl and Tisa share four beautiful children.
